That’s An App? Comedy Central
If QVC and Black Mirror had a f***ked up baby, it would be That's An App?, an original series all about the apps you never knew existed. Because they don’t. And that’s for the best.
The viral parody series was featured as part of Comedy Central's "Under The Influencer" program, a first-of-its-kind recurring creator collaboration program featuring influencers like Brandon Rogers, Anthony Padilla, and Hannah Stocking in original content as part of weeklong platform takeovers. The content model — lovingly dubbed “UTI weeks” — garnered millions of views and changed the game for Comedy Central’s social presence, expanding the network’s reach and gen-z relevance by tapping into massive, highly engaged fan bases.
My Role
As an in-house end-to-end creative and filmmaker, I served as showrunner on the digital parody series That's An App?, while flexing between writer, producer, director, DP, and editor to support the broader team's slate of original unscripted and narrative formats, including the award-winning franchise Mini-Mocks.
