Alok: Biology! deserved an iconic introduction.

We knew the intro to Alok’s comedy special needed to feel as unique as the show itself, so we crafted a vibrant take on timeless fashion and film montages that felt both fresh and familiar. The result is a dynamic cinematic showcase highlighting Alok as they traverse the streets and subways of New York City—an elegant and edgy lead-in to a special like no other.

My Role

Working as part a nimble two person-team, I developed, directed, and edited the opening sequence in close collaboration with creative partner (and DP) John P. Campbell.
